Two burners had been clicking for months without ever catching. A cracked igniter and a spark module soaked by an old boil-over. He showed me the corrosion, fitted both from the van, and they light instantly now.
Turned up inside the window he gave, wrote the fault down with the measurement beside it, and did not try to sell me a service plan. The burner wanted one spark electrode and nothing else.
The simmer setting kept dropping the flame out altogether on the left side. A lazy gas valve, not the control board a previous shop wanted to order. Half a morning, and it holds a low flame again.
